WINALDL setup?!??!?!
I have an 88 ecm and I can only get the first 5 or so lines to give me data in WINALDL. what else do i have to setup besides telling it the ecm #??? 1227165 also is there any list of what all the information means??

Since you have the 165 ecm, I would look at using Moates software or Datamaster. Both are free, but Datamaster will cost you if you want more than the 20 free trial sessions.

I got it from aldlcable.com the OBD1 serial cable

I just looed at it again and it says something about a resistor on the cable end can be repositioned between ports A and B for late 80s cars. I'll have to look at it again today and see if i can get it to work.

WinALDL DRP occured, o2 sensor, closed loop???
So I got my WinALDL to work and read everything. What does DRP Occured mean in the WM2 Flag data tab? And it never goes to closed loop even after running the engine for 5 min at operating temp. WHat should my O2 sensor read? it only goes as high as about .85.

Forget WinALD, now that you have the 10k resistor in, try Datamaster.
