weight of a L98 or LT1 with accessories?

a lot.
I had an LT1, with auto, PCM, harness and full accessories, with pallet, was about 1000lbs.
Subtract ~300 for the tranny and TC, and the slightly smaller pallet.

I actually weighed my LT1 when I got it. with all the front belt driven stuff and the starter and 6 speed flywheel in place, but no exhaust manifolds it weighed 525 lbs. The 6 speed weighed 130 and the clutch was 18. Not sure where the others were coming up with those weights.

a typical L98 is supposed to weigh in around 580 without fluids. An LT1 should weigh less cause its got more aluminum in it.
