Icm?
I keep seeing the acronym ICM now which I have never seen before. Is that the same as the ECM, i.e., main computer, or is that another computer separate from the ECM. Remember, there are no stupid ?s.

I haven't seen that one. I know my '95 has a PCM, (which is what the ECM became after the advent of electronic transmissions) a CCM and the module that controls the ABS and ASR. I'm not sure what the acronym is for it. I do know this though, there are far too many acronyms in the world today, we old guys can't keep up!

Yep, it's an Ignition Control Module. The ICM is a small component located with the coil. It's supposed to have a heatsink grease compound behind it to help transfer heat to the bracket. If it gets too hot, it can cause performance problems.
