Yes, very little, if any, exhaust comes out of the other tip.

Until you put your foot in it. This is how they combat drone and resonance. I don't know how it works but it dose.

Somebody posted a pic a while back of the inside of a Corsa muffler. He had a damaged one and decided to open it up. That one tip per muffler is mostly blocked off to combat resonance as others have pointed out. It's the only system that I've had experience with on a C4 that does not resonate at all.

It isn't a fake tip, it just doesn't see a smuch use as the inner tip is pretty much a stright thru design.

It's all explained in the paperwork that comes with the Corsa System.

Actually, the pseudo tip has absolutely nothing to do with the drone/resonance - that is all done in the Corsa resonator/h-pipe. I've experimented with the Corsa exhaust system, installing the mufflers only (with an x-pipe). Without the resonator, they drone like every other aftermarket muffler.

If you look closely at the resonator, you can actually see the slits in the 2 chambers they use to eliminate the resonance.
