$350.00 for a fuel sender???!!!! Anyone know a better deal?
With much pain and barking of knuckles, I got my fuel sensor and pump out of the '90 to perform a sender repair...fuel guage stuck at "full". I could not adjust this peice of crap to give me the correct resistance at all. Had to put it back in YIKES still broke to drive the car.
Anyway, every where I have looked seems to be selling this unit, which looks like it should cost about $50, for over $300! What a (*&_(x racket! Anybody have a used one or know a source?

I just ran into the same problem with my '90 :mad . I agree the price is outrageous, the best deal I found was at gmpartsdirect.com $250 + $50 for shipping. Part number is 25027510 for the sender, 25091503 for the gasket. Hope this helps. GM throws in the sock for the pump so don't bother ordering one of those.

Actually, if you want a real shocker go price the fuel sending assembly for a ZR1 - some vendors ask ~ $950!

hmm, the ZR1 sender is different?
i'll bet you could find the resistive wire somewhere and rewind your own potentiometer.
this might be an entrepreneurial opening, to service defunct senders.
