Tranny Rebuild in Cumming, GA area? Where's a good place?
My cousin in Cumming, GA needs to have the tranny rebuilt in her '85 or '86 that she has. Does anyone have any recommendations of a good place to do the job? It's a stock car with a stock auto tranny.

Tranny rebuild?
Does your cousin have someone that can pull the tranny and ship it off or does your cousin want a turn key job? I know of two places it can be shipped to that I trust. Some of the CF members in the Atlanta, Ga.
area might know of a trusted shop? If no one can help in a few days,
contact me and I will find out through contacts I have in that area of the state.

Drifting
There are a couple tranny places over on buford high way.
dont know if tomjumper chevy does it but theyd be my # dealership here in atlanta.
them and jim ellis.... but at tom jumper we know the mechics and they are great guys.
go to www.peachstateposse.com and ask on there. were are all out of atlanta or near by.

It is right At Jamerson and Canton Higway right before you get into Woodstock. (really more in Woodstock area than Marietta) He rebuilt my 700R4 in my 1990 vette and it has been rock solid. And he is a really nice guy as well.
