EGR Elimination and SuperRam
Have the new motor about to go back in and I am trying to figure out a few things. Could you guys shoot me some pics of where all the vacuum lines run and how you ran them?

Check your radiator shroud for a label showing you vacuum routing.....my '88 has one anyway. If not, there is a pic that I'm sure somebody can post with the vacuum routing.

Also, what did you do with this line? It connects on the back of the base of the intake manifold. Plug it? How?
Second where does this the vacuum line go?

In the second pic I think that vac hose goes to the back of the plenum chamber, I think it is the vac line for the HVAC .
Isnt the pipe in the first pic a water hose that goes from the back of the base manifold ?

Yeah it goes to teh HVAC. I just wanted to make sure if it went to the plenum.
And yes the second pic is a water hose that goes to the back of the base manifold however, my EGR blockoff kit came with a blockoff plate and gasket for it. So I figured you were supposed to block it off?

When I bought my Accel base it also had a bung in the waterway but I removed it and connected the hose as per OEM, I think they supply a blanking plate for other cars/boats that dont have the waterhose mounted there
.

Alright I got all that figured out.
Now here is the big question, can anybody with a SR answer some questions for me about the routing of vacuum hoses? (Pics possibly)
Here is what I know/am stumped on:
The HVAC vacuum line runs into one of the vacuum hookups on the back of the plenum.
The AFPR vacuum line was connected to a 4 piece vacuum hose that had:
1 line to the plenum
1 line to the fuel pressure regulator
2 lines to the AIR switching and Electric Air control (Diverter) valves respectively up by the AC compressor.
If I get rid of EGR do I just route a piece of vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator to the plenum?
There is a third two piece vacuum hose that went to EGR solenoid on the front of the plenum and to the EGR valve and the TB.
EGR valve is gone, do I just run the fuel pressure regulator to the TB then?
I am sorry guys, I am soooo confused about this. Any help is appreciated and thanks for everything so far!

If you eliminate the coolant bypass, use the intake gaskets without the rear blockoff plates - just get the F Body for your Year. Otherwise you may have insufficient cooling at the rear of the heads - all ready a problem area for the early aluminum head motors.
If you're eliminating EGR, consider swapping out the cam for something with a little more overlap or expect your combustion temps to go up at cruise. Otherwise, you'll be relying on the knock sensor to pull out enough timing when it starts to detonate and any performance gains you gain from the manifold will be nil.
If the plenum has two vacuum ports, use one for the regulator and one for the HVAC/Cruise line - that's all you need, there are no other connections that need to be made.

Thank you so much, I had wondered if that was it, but I wasn't about to go trying it on my new stroker!
Also I have fel-pro 1205s for intake manifold gaskets and a 383 stroker with a 224/234 cam so I think all should be well!
