HELP! wich brand sells a good transmission???
hi!
i'm trying to find a good transmission for my automatic 91vette ,but not the stock one,i need one to use sometimes to race,and use the nitrous,but i just saw the Raptor transmission and the monter transmission,does anone can tell me wich one is better,or another brand of a good transmission??????

I was talking to Jack at McJacks Corvettes the other day... he is using a custom built 700R4, done locally, with truck based components and heavy duty aftermarket parts. He has one behind a 454 with zero problems so far. But I don't think he has raced it.

Look at Compition transmition in Western NY. My trany went in May had them rebuild mine to a street strip runs great.

That does not make any sense....not upshifting into 4th at WOT. How the heck do you do a top speed run in a auto C4???

Vettes and police cars are equipt with a 4 th gear wot tv valve. All others are not. Swapping a non vette trans into a vette will cause you o lift off the throttle for a 3-4 gear change
