MagnaFlows on great product but not for me
Last week I installed the Magnaflows on my 95 coupe. They installed easily and I was really impressed at how great they looked and how well they are made – solid!!! I had several friends tell me that they sounded great, but they were just too loud for me. I had the stock mufflers welded back on yesterday. It was a tough decision especially since they looked so good. The polished finish sets them off.

Really can't answer that because I haven't heard the eliminators. The magnaflows sound real close to the sound bits listed for the C5 on the magnaflow.com site.

Are the Magnaflows louder than Flowmasters? Resonance? I have Flowmasters and like the sound but resonance between 1800 and 2000 RPM is deafening. Would or could the Magnaflows help cut resonance?
I looked on the C4 parts for sale /wanted and don't see your mufflers???? Thanks, Arkvette

My Magnaflow Catback System is not much louder than stock, only when I get on it is when its louder than stock. I do have the stock cat and mine is an L98, maybe on an LT1 its different. I love mine, maybe look into the old style Borla's they are not loud at all.

redgb, sorry to hear you made an investement but wasn't happy with the results. i have a magnaflow cat-back and also have been very pleased with the looks & quality.

Is the rest of your system stock? I just put magnaflows on my 1995 and I love the sound. They are a little louder than stock but almost too quiet for me. The rest of my system is stock. I have a camaro with flowmasters and they are loud as hell compared to the vette.
