I'm pulling a code 26. My GM shop manual has a procedure for pinpointing the problem, but it evidently requires a scan tool, TECH 1. Is there an aftermarket scanner equivalent in function to the TECH 1? and where might one find one at a reasonable price.

Also, is there an easier way to pinpoint the problem than go through all the testing that the Manual shows? :confused:

Factory shop manual is the best trouble shooting guideline....best/cheapest scan tool is an auto-xray.
