MAF-do I really need to customize a chip?

Per my mods (pls see sig) shouldn't my MAF system be able to handle the very mild cam and heads? I still have NOT installed the supercharger and have the original TPI tubes/plenum. Please help.

Your Bosch MAF was fairly restrictive in the L98's you should fine many websites on how people have modified them by shaving fins and removing screens. Granatelli is one aftermarket higher flow sensor. My opinion is they are a little pricey... the LT's really don't have the restrictions as the earlier C4's.

Handle it? Depends. Will it start up and drive - probably. Will it drive like stock - probably not. Will it be as fast as possible - probably not.

:iagree: 100%. It may be OK,and maybe only some of the time. It wont be at its best though, and an off the shelf performance chip wont do it.
