code 42

Ok I got the car running with the 165 ecm and a modified(no vats, 24 lb injectors) arap bin. I didnt disconnect the CSI, but it started fine. Ive got a code 42 now which I believe is electronic spark control. Any Ideas?? I am gonna search and find out if any of the repinning is this circuit, maybe I repinned wrong? Anyone know some things to check to remedy a code 42? I didnt have it before the ecm swap.

Code 42, the http://www.c4vettes.com says "Check wiring at ignition module. Replace ignition module.Possible ECM failure". Hopefully it's just a wiring thing at module. Don't know if this helps, but good luck. :seeya

had the same, just reseated eprom and connectors,,, cleared codes , problem went away.. hope its that easy for you :thumbs:
