Default Another LV8 question

I hope I got the abreviation right...

The search turned up nothing, but I know this is a common (and complicated) question: What does LV8 stand for, and what does the value mean to me? It seems to be in a whole slew of tables, so I figure it must be important....

Also, aside from the thirdgen intro type stuff, is there any good, detailed information on what a lot of the ECM tables and definitions do/stand for/mean? Granted, most are obvious enough, but I was poking through datamaster and a lot of it still seems like Greek- I'd just love to have a table of definitions on this stuff.

I am sure I will be corrected to some extent here. LV8 is load, calculated by rpm and airflow- in a nutshell.

Yep, grams per cylinder of air. it is calculated with the MAF and RPM. :)
