Could use some Help using an Autoxray xp240

I'm new to the Scan procedure, i purchased the xp240 and wanted to use it to scan my 93 auto. I have it configured with no problem. I have a couple of questions on how to use it. Any help would be appreciated..

Press scan and then enter and it will read. Press data and chose trouble codes, or one of the other options. Great scanner btw.

Ok, thanks for that, how does the Capture mode work? To do the first Scan, is the engine running or just turn the key on?

I always scan with engine running. Never did figure out capture mode, but there's directions in the book.

Tx Mr ******, the book is not very clear, at least to me anyway...I'm not to smart when it comes to electronic gadgets...I'm a whiz with mechanical things....
