To my dismay, i found out that tts no longer supports/sells datamaster da v3.51.

I have never been able to get v4.0 to work. It always connects and then hangs up every 5 seconds, then taking another 10 seconds to reestablish a connection.

It doesnt matter whether its on windows xp or my windows 7 laptop. I get the same issue.

Again,v3.51 (on windows xp and the same aldl to usb cable), works flawless.

I know that i am not the only person with this issue as others have mentioned it to me as well.

I contacted sales at tts and they didnt know the answer.

I tried some aldl rate settings in the troubleshooting section and that didnt work.

If anyone knows how to make v4 work, let me know

I have no problem using it on my '93. You may need to "Disable CCM handshake" option on the software.

I want to add i also have a moates adapter, but that shouldnt effect anything as its not on the ALDL.

I will try again the disable ccm handshake...

Again v3.51 works, no programming gymnastics needed

V4.0 does not

I wish that I didn't upgrade. IMHO 3.51 was the best version. (I have a 95 and the same issues with .4.0 I called Datamaster trying to revert back to 3.51 but no joy)
