1994 C41 code and SYS
I just bought this car in non running condition. I was told the car had been sitting for over a year to the point that a new set of tires were dry rotted. The following are problems I've found and what I have done so far.
1. Car will start when clutch pedal is buried in the carpet. The clutch switch is in a location where my big head, shoulders and arms will not go. Even if all I want to do is bypass the switch.[B] Is there a way to adjust the switch or get at it more easily?
2. When I start the car it runs for a few seconds then stops. The codes come up as follows.
1. C41
4. ERR
9. ERR
A. ERR
I found a purple wire in the red plug in the PCM that was pulled out. It was a ground from what I found. Plugged it in but no changes.
I checked for corrosion on the PCM connectors and found none.
I checked all the fuses and found none blown.
I have the two volume GM Service Manual and the CCM Book. I see what they are asking me to try on 8D-55 in Book 2 but again, big head will get in the way.
Based on the car seating around not being used, what do you think the most obvious problem could be?
Thanks,
Jack

Yes
Will get better response the tech dept , this section is for tuning engines
That said ,
DTC 41 is a major headache to identify where the actual problem lies.
You have lost communication between the ECM and the CCM. Many have lost their hair try to sort it
