Default 88 165 ECU 160 baud?

I managed to get my ALDL datalog going through Tuner Pro RT but it seems pretty slow. Are we stuck at 160 baud only?

Thanks,

Aaron

the BAUD rate for a 165 ECM is 8192. You should be seeing 10-12 samples per second.

Thanks. So assuming I can get a 160 data stream going, is there a way to step it up to the higher speed?

The 1227165 ECM defaults to sending data at 160 baud.

At the end of each set of data the ECM waits 50 ms (milliseconds -- 1/1000 of a second). If it receives a special series of bytes during that time it switches to 8192 baud. Once it switches it stays at 8192 baud. The data monitoring program must be able to handle this.

TunerPro RT can do it. It needs the correct data/setup template to do this. I think it's an .ADX file (I have TunerPro RT but have not used it very much).

Thanks. I was using the wrong .adx file. It mostly works now. Haha. Turns out the oil' 165 is a little moody about spitting out 8192 data.
