I like some of the features of the $6e .bin (like lean cruise aka highway fuel mode and no cold start injector) but my car is a 88 4+3. Obviously the 89 has a 6 speed trans without the OD box. Any suggestions for how to get the $6E features?

On the 4+3's I always use 32, or 32B. You might try entering the same lockup values into the 6spd file and see if it works.
