Default need to pass CA emissions

I am having trouble passing emissions at idle, just barely. My 93 has a performance cam and the previous owner did not seem to care if it passed smog or not. Could this be because of valve duration. it really lopes at idle. It is the CO% at 1.12 at709 rpm max is 1.00. it passed good at 2500 rpm. any help would be greatly appreciated

You may be in luck. Mark Romans is one of the best C4 tuners in the country & works out of MSI in Roseville part time. That's about what.........a 2 hour drive down highway 5 mas o menos?

You might try raising the idle RPM. My 85 has a 396 with a 221/230 cam. It passed fine at 2500 RPM but not at idle. By raising the RPM to just under 1000 RPM it made it.
