I have not used a Tech 1 scanner to program a CCM. I do know it must be a brand new one to program. If you buy a Mass Storage Cartridge, it needs to be programed. It might come ready to go , or it could come blank?

Just spotted this so I apologize for not responding earlier. The link in your earlier post has expired so I can't see what you got with your Tech1A. If you have a Mass Storage Cartridge with updated software you should be able to program your CCM no problem. I have a step by step procedure written down, if it will help let me know and I will PM it to you.
