Default question on C4 tuning

I have a stupid question . I looking into getting a C4 and I use HP tuner on my Silverado SS . Can I use HP tuner also on a C4? I’m thinking no BUT you can on the 94 and 95 C4’s . Not sure.

What is TunerPro RT ? Can that be used on a lap top with UBS port ?

Thanks Mark

I haven't used HP Tuner but I believe it is OBDII only. 94/95's are OBDI. Tunerpro RT is for OBDI, free, and can be used with laptop & USB.

Checkout TunerCat, they have a pretty good deal on tuning software and an interface cable for the 94/95 cars.

Hi

The best tune that you can get is East Coast Supercharging in Cream Ridge NJ they are not that far from 6 Flags

Not only do they tune your car but they change the shift points in your
auto tranny.

They did mine and it was awesome.

I use Tunerpro RT to burn chips for my 87. It will work with your laptop You can download it free. Donate 30$ if you like it. The easiest most user friendly software Ive ever used. If you have the right cable, you can datalog with it too but I like TTS Datamaster for datalogging.
Go to Moates.net for the software and hardware.

Default Lost my mind for a minute

ECS did this to my C5 not my C4 but they are not pricey and they are local.

Give them a call regarding price because they do run specials

Good Luck

Kingman - He is looking for a tune on a C4. ECS doesn't work on them. I have even had my car on their dyno but they couldn't do anything with it.

Hi

I only found ECS when l picked up my C5 never did anything with my 96 C4. The difference between the C4 & C5 is night and day but l miss the C4. The only 3 vettes that l had l really do not miss as far as driving was my 64,68 and 76 all drove like trucks compared to the C4 & C5's

Thanks, I might just pop in one day and check out their facilities... Maybe they will tell me they can tune a C4 and maybe they wont... Doesnt matter, it will be a nice cruise (when the weather gets nice) with the top down!

Default It doesn't matter

I found that the ECS guys are a great bunch of guys and they do a lot more then tune vettes.

I use them as a full service shop and they are damn good and not pricey.

Plus they have neat vettes there so yes it's worth the drive.

And thats what I plan on doing! If they say they cannot tune my 96 then I will still check everything out! I went to Corvette Paramedics just to check out their facilities and they gave me a tour!

Since you already have and understand the OBD2 software, I would just upgrade to the OBD2 PCM.
