Default Need help with tuning my '86 from scratch..

I just bought an '86 coupe A4 z51 AL head car. It is all stock with 127k on the clock. I have been through Gordon's c4/zr-1 classes 2.5 years ago but I have had c6s since and I have forgotten most of everything I learned.

My car is slow to start and does miss a little at an idle. I want the most performance I can get with stock induction, cam, and exhaust.

Where do I start? I really would appreciate some help brotheren......

You problems sound more age related than a problem with the tune
Unless you know the maintainance history I would the basics 1st; plugs / wires /rotor , fuel fliter/ etc. Check impendance of injectors .Some tips here ( click continue at top of page to go to next page)

Remove TB completely and clean inc IAC valve ; not in place as shown.( Reset TPS after install )
