Default tunercat vs. tunerproRT, whats the diff. tunercat doesnt reply

Hi,

I have a supercharged 93 vette with stock computer. I have a good base tune, an ostrich emulator, and was able to tweak this on the dyno using tunerproRT.

Anyways, its my understanding that tunercat has some more user-controllable features (like ability to lock BLM's in the last cell before PE and also to control individual cylinder fuel trims).

The big thing Id like to know is if my base tune file ($DA2.xdf) could be read by tunercat software. If I had to start over, Id be up a creek without a paddle.

Does anyone know?

i tried emailing tunercat a month ago, without response.

With the $EE version of TunerCat that I use you can read and save the PCM file you are currently running. Then you can make changes to the file. I assume it it this way on all of TunerCat versions.

You could always download the trial version and see. It's good for 30 days.
