Can you permanently mount a Ostrich in the Engine Compartment?

Hi Folks,

Was going to start doing my own tuning, and Greg @ Blower Works is helping me get started.

I want to permanently mount the Ostrich in the engine compartment near the ECM (stock location on the 90). An suggestions to make it weather proof and making it convenient to hook up to a lap top while driving (passenger use of course) would be great.

Will engine heat be a problem for it?
