Needs to be from a 350 TPI, ( different fueling , different knock sensor for starters )
I believe a 90 -92 F body memcal will work in a Vette , but not other way around

What chip?
Any of the off the shelf chips are too generic and not worth the money

Tunercat is software for reading and (editing) the chip. The read is then saved to a bin. file in Tunercat.
You make your edits or changes in Tunercat and save those changes to a bin. file which can be programed back to the chip.
Tunercat is not for Programming(burning) the chip. Depending on which type of chip
you use where is different ways to reprogram the chip.

Go to Moates.net and get Tunerpro RT and all the hardware and software you need. Most of the software is free. The hard ware is inexpensive and user friendly.
