Default LT1 F body vs. Y body tune

Ok so I did some searching but didn't find much. I have a 95 Firebird Formula that has had a tune done by previous owner. Previous owner also said he could tell a decent improvement in before & after performance wise.

I also have a 95 bone stock Corvette. Both are A4, K&N, Magnaflow, stock long block equipped. Only difference is the Fbody has LT headers. I am wondering if I can upload the tune from the Fbody to the Ybody ECM with no side effects?

Has anyone else done this or know someone who has? Thanks in advance.

Does the Firebird have a CCM?
The 90+ Vettes had a CCM and the ECM had to see a signal from the CCM before it would pulse the injectors.
I know of people who have run 90 -92 F-body tunes
( had no CCM ) in 90-91 Vettes so as to bypass this requirement because they have removed the CCM ( for track use ) from their cars

I'm a little new to tuning. CCM = Chassis Control Module(?), I'm not sure. I'm starting to lean against just uploading the tune. I'm doing more comparison with it vs the Vette bin and make adjustments here and there.

Thank you for your answer rodj. I did some searching for CCM, found this thread and after reading it I believe it would be safe not to use it for anything other than reference.

Edit: I see CCM stands for Command Control Module. Thanks again.

I see no reason why you can't cut and paste the important calibrations (SA , Fueling ,etc ) from the F body to the Vette tune.Would not be changing anything as far as the CCM handshake goes
You save your original Vette tune as a backup and mod a copy
