please lead me in right direction

Hey gang,
I am an avid reader and member. I appreciate that this is about doing projects our selves but just maybe someone knows where I can have my prom/chip programmed to my specifications, and my year etc. 1988 vette conv. i remember reading here or somewhere there are companies who do special programming for your car and for what your looking to get from it.

I am computer knowledgable but before i do this on my car i need to have someone physically help me. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ALL KNOW A COMPANY WHO WILL DO THIS CUSTOM FOR ME.
