Default Does this look close?

Seems like its finally getting close no vibration, converter is locking...I still have to figure out how to hook up but...How much air should a 355 be moving? Is everything close or do I need to ..... work on exhaust.......air intake system.......?

Just a little LT1 355 with AI heads.

350 g/s is a healthy amount of air. I just pulled up a couple of stock-engine logs and it's around 245 g/s at 5900 rpm.

I've read that a rule of thumb is to shoot for a Baro-Map @WOT of less than 1.5 in-Hg or so. Use the initial Baro reading on startup.

Another thing to look at is, on a WOT run, how much does the MAP value drop off as RPMs increase.

Just stuff I've read, no real expertise...

Thanks for the response Its not an anomoly

Although, I cant see 5900 on the log since it revs too fast on that log but on the frames prior to that its 223.43 at 4575 then 271.46 at 5250 and finally the screen shot frame. I'll track the pressure drop at wot.
Looks like a 1.53 ln HG drop from the highest map reading on that particular WOT run to the lowest (same couple of second run)

If that is good it shows that the stock lid and a KN is not bad. If its bad whats better......?

Is 1.53 in HG drop good at 6300 rpm?????

Mike
