Default error code 54 and 55

I just purchased a 1985 C4 that had a bad tps sensor. The car would idle way up when started and then die down and finally die. You could keep it running by pumping the accelerator until it was warmed up and then it would oscilate but stay running. Once you got it driving it would have a big lag. It would stumble and die at stop signs. I put the new sensor in it and it seemed to fix everything except that it would still idle rough and die at stops signs. That was two days ago that i replaced the sensor. Today I scanned the car and got two error codes, code 55 and 54. I was wondering how to deal with these codes. They seem to have something to do with the fuel pump but it might be teh ECM? Anyone know how to troubleshoot these codes or how to fix them? Any tests that I can run?

Thanks, so I should probably replace my ECM, I don't ever get a check engine light but i guess the element is probably burnt out cause i dont see it when i turn the key on either. Does anyone know if a 1987 ECM will work with a 1985 car, or are there differences?

The 87 ECM will do you no good, you will need to find an 85 ECM(1 year only).
Here is some info on the no SES light

This info is from 86 so some info may be different on an 85, but it's better than nothing

That's correct. Only the a 85 ECM will work with a 85 Corvette. The 86 can use a 86-89 ECM.
