Default Setting L98 timing

I just purchased a timing light, because I suspect that the timing is off. I pulled out the shop manual, and found out that the timing is to be set a 6 degrees. The problem is that the timing marks, do not look like the one in the service manual. There is a large cut out, which I assume is 0 degrees. There are two notches below that and three above. Does anyont have a picture of one, or can tell me what I am looking at?

You will have to disconnect the EST wire first before setting timing so the ECM can't retard the timing. The larger indention is 0*. Each notch over to the pass side is 2*. Loosen the distrubitor hold down bolt and move the distrubitor to set timing. Tighten the bolt and recheck. Here is a pic of the EST.

I have a photo that should explain it well. The base timing is usually 6 degrees before TDC. The first v-notch left of the large zero notch viewed from the front of the engine.
