Nice to be here with other Corvette enthusiasts. After reviewing various threads, this looks like a great place to gather information. Basics: White ’95, six-speed coupe. First time owner. I am looking to change my plugs and reviewed a few threads last night. Does anyone know of any special tools to access the forward plugs? Any hints or things to watch out for?

Hello and welcome to CF. There a great group of guys and gals here to convers with. I also have a 95...one of the best year C4's IMO. It's easier if you remove the inner fender to reach #8 plug and for the drivers side you will need to remove the ASR "stuff". Don't get caught up in the spark plug opinion wars. A spark plug is a spark plug...some you just pay more for because they look fancy which you will only see before the install. Here is a thread you can read through. Hope to see you around.

I too have a 95. My second Vette and learned by errors...The spark plugs are plugs. Just get a name brand quality plug and forget about it. I changed my plugs thinking it would improve idle but found nothing was better but my wallet was a little lighter...
