Default Scan tools for 90 L98

Does anyone have experience with a scan tool with "chasis" computer control capabilities... that is a scan tool for an OBD1 with the ability to control body systems susch as heater control ect?

I guess what I am looking for is the best bi-directional capable scan tool for OBD1. Anyone have experience?

That would be news to me. All my changes have come from updating bins & then burning to a chip.

Moates.net is the place to go for the goods.

Tech 1 scan tool, the tool referenced in the FSM. Look on E-Bay under TECH 1 and you will find them for $200.00 to $300.00. You need a cartridge for your application. They make a Mass Storage Cartridge that a GM dealer can program for all GM OBD1 applications.

How does thw Tech 1 compare the snap on MT2500 w/ the correct cartridges?
