Default Reading sensor read out on digital dash

A few years ago i had read that by shorting out certian ALDL pins and using the digital dash on a 92 you could poke the values stored in the ECM.
Think i can find the article or remeber the procedure...NOT. I have a similar posting in tech section thought i'd try here.
