C4 to C5 Conversion Kit ???????
Does anyone know about these C4 to C5 conversion kits I have recently noticed popping up on cars on Ebay? Is it a quality kit? If so what is the pricing and where do they come from??? Thanks!

I belive a company called C5West sells them. In person they just don't look right. You will prolly get alot of negative comments on these kits.

If you are interested in one let me know I have most of the pieces. You would have to get a new front bumper from C5west but I have the rest. The doors I have are already done and the rear bumber and side pieces are still in good shape. I converted my 84 then wrecked the car so I still have most of the C-5 kit in tact. Here is a link to my car before and after the wreck. The only negitive feedback I ever recieved on my car was on this forum. I just bought a 94 and everyone that saw my old car thought it looked better then my new one. I am not going to put the kit on my 94 because it would drop the value to much but if I had a 84 or 85 I would do it in a heartbeat again.

I think the kit is pretty nice, everytime I think about it I like it more and more, but I would really like it in urethane rather than glass. I dont want to add weight to the car and have pieces that will crack down the road. I do think they look cool though, from the side.....it almost looks like a C6! That was a hard hit!

Step away from the buy button. Looks like crap, made like crap, you look like a poser driving one. May as well strap on a bad lamborghini kit instead. Same results. :U

What a bunch of magpies....I think your question was...where do they come from and are they made well? Yes, they are made well (quality wise) by Spencer at C5West.com
So if you decide that Vanacor kits must be better since they are more expensive, think again as Spencer makes Vanacor's also.
These are great kits for those who don't have the jack (nor want a car payment) for a C5 but have enough for a few older vettes....like me. :)

Eh, Add the cost of a kit, put on a C4 and painted, plus the cost of a late model C4 and you'd be sitting in a C5.
Making your car look different with a body kit CAN be cool. Trying to make your car look like a different car, is not. This is poser territory. If you want a good kit, get a greenwood and leave the C5 conversions to the ricer cheeseballs.
