 Just my 0.02 an HO, but Kwiklift often has deals where they pay the freight and the base modelused to be under a grand.

I have a Kwiklift and I am not selling, but if I were to think about it, grating and shipping would be overwhelming to a person like me.

You can't send it UPS and it won't fit in a small box :D

Have you checked with Kwiklift for specials?

Ps I love mine, bought it at Cruise In 1.... I even have it converted to air/hydraulic lift to eliminate manual jacking

Yes good point. I was just thinking maybe someone might have one they were looking to get rid of rather cheap. If it wasn;t too far I'd drive up in a UHaul and pick it up...

Short answer to a long story :D

I chopped a hole in my garage floor, bought an 8 ton air/hydraulic jack from omega (via Northern Equipment Tool) and six hours later I have an air operated Kwiklift :D

If you want the long version, e mail me. It's a sweet installation if i do say so myself. Really convenient.. Total cost less than $250.00 including the jack and the concrete

A picture is worth a thousand words. So I've heard anyway.

Anyone interested in the air/hydaulic conversion, I will take some pics and generate some written instructions I can e mail. I'll do it this weekend.

Meanwhile, the Jack itself is available from Northern equipment, part number 144310, cost $ 189 +

If you want more info, e mail me and I will put you on the list
