WTB: Complete L98 Pullout
#21
Melting Slicks
Oddly enough since this thread started, I have somewhat looked at Facebook Craigs and Offer in the Pacific NW. The LT1s seem to be plentiful but the L98s are missing. I can find you one for $1500 and you get the rest of the car with it. I would still have a look at what the rule book calls an L98. One Block over another has no horsepower advantage over another. If its got L98 Heads and Intake it should be considered and L98. I will bet Your local Machine Shop can get a Core if they don't already have one.

Above 1988 Camaro , supposedly with a L98, arrived at Pick N Pull, in Rancho Cordova, Ca. on April 2 2024.
I always presumed Pick N Pull "Insiders/friends/whatever" got advance notice of Golden finds, such as this Camaro L98. Anyone want to call them?

Camaro had iron heads. The OP is on a hunt for something cheap, and good luck. I sold my last L98 complete for a grand+. That was 25 years ago.
