[Big Pics] LT1 intake converted w/ Fuel Rails FS
$350 + shipping
This is the intake that John at http://www.lt1intake.com made for me months ago but have since decided to go with a SuperRam. I never fitted this manifold to my car. The manifold has been machined to accept a 58mm throttle body. Other minor parts needed to make this a reality are detailed on John's website. In case any of you are wondering what it cost me to get what you see in the picture... $200 for the intake, $200 plus shipping for the conversion, $125 for the fuel rails and another $80 to have them modified to accept AN fittings. So, this gives you an idea of how much it could cost if you went out and started from scratch like I did. Externally mounted AFR will be needed.
I have the fuel rail cross-over tube... it just wasn't attached when pictures were took.
Please email me... or you can reach me at Xtreme Motorsports Wednesday's through Saturdays. I can accept CC's through Xtreme. Otherwise I will accept personal checks or Money Orders. I have been burned before by personal checks on the forum so if you write me one it must clear before I'll ship.

Yes, its still for sale. I was going to toy with it a bit on my current 357 then build a high revving supercharged 383 or 396 but have put that off for now and decided to go with a SuperRam... something that will take advantage of the lower revving motor I already have. :)

Where did you get the fuel rails modified? I've got some B-Body fuel rails that I need to get modified to exit on the pax side for my '57 Convt. install. Something like this may work. What did you do for a F.P. regulator?
Also still lurking for a set of C4 LT1 Fuel rails if anyone has a set.

I'd buy that in a heartbeat if I wouldn't worry about emissions...

well, I'd love to have it. Besides being short on cash, I'm also wondering about emissions. We just started the dyno emissions here this year and I failed three times before I finally got the car to pass. The EGR was not kicking in (Throttle position wasn't high enough to enable on the dyno) but once I got it to kick in, it passed with flying colors. Now, if I remove EGR by putting this on, I wonder if I'll have troubles?????

Charlie, the fuel rails were modified locally. I can email you the house that did it for me... just let me know through email. The stock LT1 fuel rails have a rather thin wall where the normal o-ring fitting (with crimp) sits for incoming/outgoing fuel. Obviously it can be done. Machinest charged me $80 because he didn't think he could tap the THIN rail to accept an NPT thread. Hell, the fittings alone cost me $20. He felt his time would be more for setup than actual mill and tap. Well there you have it... its done.
I do not have an external FPR... there are several out there... that would be perfect for this app.
Heh :D ... got a set of fuel rails for an early 92-93 LT1... unfortunately you need a 92-93 LT1 intake to accomodate... that I have too:D. I tried fitting the two together for pics to sell the set on the forum but can't seem to get the fuel rail to sit right. Nothing is bent... and is Corvette vintage... so its SUPPOSED to fit. I suppose if I had a set of injectors to fit inbetween it would work. Email me if interested... I will provide detailed pics and price.

Bill Is this the one with the old 1/4 spacer design or does it have the new spacer on the distributor hole?

As far as I know this is the new design... drilled/tapped and screwed in place. I can snap a few more close up pics and email to you if you like. Let me know :)

so it would fit '85 style heads? Not '87 and up al. heads? :(
Somebody needs to slap this setup on! They could have a serious screamer here....
