I have a transmission that was built by Bill at zfdoc in '04 (at a cost of 5202.00). I am unsure if there is a problem with the transmission or not as i was driving the vette at Road Atlanta, had an off-track excursion (nothing significant just over the gators and onto the outside road off of turn 2/3 series). But over the next half lap the car got to where it wouldn't shift. I trailer'd it after being towed back, and never went into this trans but installed a new motor/trans combo immediately (actually mechanic did it) - that was a couple of years ago - and he does not remember if the clutch master was empty or not (which we suspected was the issue, but...?). So it's your call as to whether or not to take the risk. I was told these are 3k+ even in unknown condition - it was shifting perfectly, NO ISSUES AT ALL, until that incident. So i think it's ok. Probably the worst is a shifter fork issue, best case, nothing at all...The first 2700.00 takes it (pick up, or you must pay truck freight to get it to your location).

Thanks for the reply - The ZF is sold.

I do have an SP122B ATL fuel cell (good, but would need new bladder to be road-race compliant) and also a Paget racing seat.
