It will if you change the mounting brackets on the car or the top to fit each other. I already sold the brackets off my car, but if you have a top that fits now you can just swap the brackets out.

Yes, that is what I have read from several threads here. I could meet you half-way between 47802 and the "greater Cincinnati area" for $375. Here are two pics that I have right now, I can get some better ones tomorrow.
Did a little more checking on the swap option. Looks like there may have to be some "modifications" made to the top to get the older hardware to fit a newer top. From what I now understand, the 86L-88 to 89-96 swap is just changing brackets. Let me get some better pics of that area and get back with you.
