Any interest in Convertible hardtops?
I have a lead on 3 convertible hardtops, two ruby in color and one 85-92 red color. I think I can get these and be able to sell them for $600. I don't want to invest my money unless someone wants them.
I am sure there is probably light wear, as they have been stored for several years. I don't have pics but if there is interest, I will move forward to try to get them.
The problem is usually shipping on such a big item. I could possibly meet someone part way depending on where it is, I could put the top on my 92 to help with delivery.
Let me know.

HardTop
It would be a good addition, personally I have other things I need to do first.
Reason I'm adding something here is I recently was reading a thread on someone getting a hardtop for a C4. Apparently the top locking mechanism GM used on the C4's changed over the years. The top needs to have the same mechanism as the soft top for the car. Sounded like they can be changed but unless the top was fitted to the same model mechanism, they may need to be changed and I don't know how easy that part(s) are to find if needed.
I have no experience with them, so take this only as something I read. It may be right or it may have been wrong.
Personally, it sounds like a fair price if they're in decent condition.

If you have a 89 to 96 it will bolt on. There is some mods needed for 86-88 and of course there was no 84-85 vert.

Hardtop shipping
I bought one in California and had it shipped by Greyhound bus to Florida. The seller made an internal reinforcement from 2x4's and covered it with carpet padding...just a suggestion.

I have also used Greyhound for shipping seats. It is a really good service and there are plenty of terminals to pick it up from. For $600 if they are in decent shape they will sell.

Yes I can chime in too, I bought a fiberglass rear bumper cover from Cali and had it shipped greyhound as well and I received it without any damage, and at a good shipping cost too. Just thought I'd testify too.
