Default WTB targa brace

Hi looking to buy a targa brace. I'm tired of the squeaks and flex when I take the roof out. Thanks Just send me a PM if you have one for my '96.

If you can't find one used, this is the kind I have - I'm very happy with it:

Thanks pianoguy! I was looking at those last night. I figured if I just ordered it someone would post a used one today for $100 LOL.

Default One For Sale??....Good Luck

I think I have seen one used targa brace for sale in the nearly 10 years I have been in the Corvette world...and that one lasted about five minutes!

I would love to have one BUT $475 is alot...at least to me.

Perhaps we can put together a group buy for 10 of them and get a nice price drop??? Has anyone ever has this guy about that? If not I will call him....most he can do is laugh and say no.

I'm pretty sure I bought that one - LOL! I just happened to be looking at the forum right after it was posted for sale, so I jumped on it. Worth a shot to see if they'd do a group buy of some sort - they're very nice pieces. Best of luck!

Depending on what the final price would be, i would be in for a group buy also. If you do not feel comfortable calling about this let me know and i will.

I think a group buy would be great if we can pull it together quickly. Thanks for suggesting it. Who knows maybe we won't need 10 for a break

I just called Tommy's Speed Shop and left him a message asking if he would be interested in a group buy for us. His web site clearly says the brace is made by Largent Industries which is not connected with Tommy's. Is the 2 seperate unconnected companies, or is it one person overseeing 2 different operations? I googled Largent Industries with no success. I'll post as soon as I hear back from him.

A lot of people are on vacation this time of year also. Give it a day or two and then place another call.

I just heard back from Tom and he said he can give us $50 if we can come up with 10 orders. That will drop the price to $425. Who's in? My thought is once we get the 10 I'll call him again with names and away we go. Should we post this somewhere else in the forum as well?
I figure I'll start a new thread as a group buy for the subject line.

If you want in please respond to the new thread and I'll keep a list there. If I'm violating any rules please let know

It bolts in just like the fiberglass or clear top, very easy to install or remove:
