Default 1985 L98 TPI engine/drivetrain part out (going LS/T56)

This thread is a few months old but was recently bumped. Most everything has already been sold or thrown away. Here is what's left:

The alternator is a 93-96 version CS144D that can be easily retrofitted to earlier C4 and other GM models, rebuilt to be a "high output" version making supposedly 200 amps, that I bought new approx 18 months ago. It has the appropriate wiring harness adapter plug to plug into the stock 85 alternator wiring plug and this adapter cost $20.. It's powdercoated and painted in flat black and red. Alternator with adapter plug $125 shipped.

The water pump was bought new from advance auto about 2 years ago for $65 and painted flat black with the pulley powdercoated gloss black. water pump/pulley $30 shipped

bosch replacement oxygen sensor used for 3k miles, with plug, $12 shipped

Also has a recent 160* thermostat, $12 shipped

1985 upper radiator hose, aftermarket, 3k miles old, $12 shipped

I also have the C-beam that went with the auto transmission. I'm thinking $30 for the cbeam plus actual shipping.

I accept paypal online payment, US post office money order, or cash in person. I am a verified paypal seller of over 1350 verified transactions since 2000, and an ebay powerseller of 2500+ positives and 100% feedback rate in the past year. I also have a 17" c4 spare tire that I bought from a member here. Tire looks like it has never been ridden on, and isn't dry rotted as far as I can see. Turns out that it has a slow leak and doesn't hold air for more than a month or so. I paid $70 shipped for it (when i was told that it was good) and I'd take about $50 shipped for it now (with about $25 of that being shipping).

Also have the original 85 alternator for my car, painted silver and black, worked when removed, $25 shipped for it.

That looks really sharp in the red. I'm talking to "she who must be obeyed" about this. If you start to part out, I may beg her for some stuff. (TPI setup and AIR delete bracket.)

If I get a buyer for the intake/valve cover set then I'm willing to part out, and I'll just craigslist the 350 core locally afterward.

BTW the starter is still on the motor and will go with it unless someone needs it separately for $30 shipped. Worked perfectly.

Decided to go ahead and part out since I have tentative buyers for a handful of parts. So far I have buyers interested in the MAF, the headers, and the air pump bypass.

I do have the bracket and tensioner, but I was holding onto them for a little while. I want to test-fit the LS engine in the car and see if I can figure out a way to keep the original a/c compressor and lines in their original position, either using the original bracket or a custom fabbed bracket. I may have to abandon the entire original a/c compressor/bracket and swap to a different setup on the new motor, I don't know yet until I do some mock up.

Until I've worked that aspect out I don't want to sell my original bracket and tensioner. Also I don't really know what to ask for it. I know they are apparently a part that people commonly have issues with, although I don't understand why they break. What's the going rate for them? I don't really have time to research it right now.

AIR delete came yesterday. Couldn't pick it up because office was closed but wanted to say thanks for the quick shipping!

Great guy to deal with!

Made it to the office today in time. AIR delete is PERFECT. Looks like a brand new unit! Thanks a ton!

If you still have the engine and TPI intake, can you send me a quote for cost plus shipping to New Hamshire.

Well, you didn't give a zip code, so I can't really quote shipping.

Also, I don't really know the weight of an ironhead 350 with TPI intake setup. My guess would be 400-450lb. And on that assumption, my guess for shipping would be $200-275. I do truck freight shipping often, but just not for engines this heavy.

If you want to give me a zip I will try to narrow it down.

The truck freight quote would be applicable to business delivery or dock pickup at whatever the nearest servicing terminal is to you. Should you want residential delivery, they normally tack on about $100 extra for that.
