How do i know if i need "thick" or "thin"??

I have a stock 1992 with 2.54 Dana 36....can you confirm if the parts you have are the right parts for my car or do i need the "thin"?

You need the Thick gear- the thin fits 3.07 and numerically higher carrer while the thick fits 2.89 and numerically lower- i found this out the hard way- i had the 3.07 and bought this thick gear- richmond and summit both told me it would fit-wrong. I had to buy another thin gear- But this will fit your carrier. 573-822-3122 rick
