The Ceramic Pads are a 100% non-ferrous, asbestos free pad engineered to virtually eliminate nasty brake dust and noise without sacrificing performance! Each set comes with a nitrile rubber constrained steel shim attached to the backing plate to ensure vibration and noise free performance. The zinc plating means that they will always look new right?Whats your warranty?How would a front & rear complete set with the J55(13 inch) package handle some spirited drivind,some autocross,& being run on a track(drag & track with many turns)?Hows the brake dust?Do the pads make noise?I would assume not as there ceramic

The zinc plating helps prevent corrosion on the areas where it remains after the break in. The friction surface (puck area) will be susceptible to rust on cars that spend long periods out doors without moving. The zinc is intended to prevent corrosion on the hat/hub area and the vanes inside. It holds up better to heat cycling than both anodizing or paint but will wear over time. Corvettes rotors will usually stay shiny for a long time because they are rarely exposed to snow/salt.

The Evolution pads are virtually dust free (the dust they produce is essentially clear and it won't cling like a ferrous compound). The dust they do produce is clear and gentle on rims with easy clean up. They are also extremely quiet, you should not notice any noise after a thorough break in.

The only limitation in your list of expected driving environments would be road racing. Drilled rotors will typically not experience the type of drastic heat cycling necessary to cause cracks on the street or auto-x (even 1/4 mi) use. But road racing will not be kind to the cross-drilled rotors. We do have slotted only rotors which may be substituted for those planning on doing HPDE events that need something more durable.

The rotors are very tempting.

Anyone have any experince with the Z16 pads? I was looking at picking up Hawk HPS pads for front and rear. Opinion seems to be that the ceramincs are lowest dust, but that the HPS (ferrro-carbon) pads provide the best stopping performance.

The Evolution Ceramic pads offered in these kits have a linear coefficient of friction from 100-1000F. They are a great street performance pad that will not squeal or throw off dark corrosive dust. They are ideal for autocross applications and occasional 1/4 mi use, I would not suggest them for HPDE or road race events. BTW quasar blue zr1 =

I have purchased from Adam twice in the past, and let me say, he is first rate to deal with. The first time was for a Honda Pilot. I have about 30,000 miles on those and they are still in good shape.
The second time was for the front of a 1 ton ford van. I did have a problem with one of the bearing races coming loose. Adam told me he would make good on it and ship me out another rotor, but at the time I had a health issue come up and never got back to him. Adam called me several times and I do owe you an apology for not getting back to you.
But again, let me say Adam is first rate and would be my first choice on who I would buy from even if they were not on sale!!
