OEM 1996 Grand Sport wheels and tires
$1,200 plus shipping
For Sale - complete set of four GM Grand Sport wheels and tires.
Fronts: 17" x 9.5" x 56mm with Goodyear Eagle GS-C 275/40 ZR
Rears: 17" x 11" x 50mm with Goodyear Eagle GS-C 315/35 ZR
Fronts are marked: 10214046 AFR 17.2 x 9.5 x 56
Rears are marked: 9592479 RJC 17 x 11 x 50
No center caps.
I purchased these wheels & tires new in 1998 and ran them on my 1993 Corvette for about a year. When I sold it, I put the original wheels back on and put these GS wheels/tires in storage. I'd estimate that they have 1,500 - 2,000 miles on them. The wheels are in great condition with no curb rash or damage. The tires are also great with what I'd estimate to be 80% - 85% tread left. This is a fantastic set and you won't be dissapointed. I live in central Missouri and would prefer to sell these locally, but I will ship them with the buyer paying the actual shipping cost. These are a bargain for $1,200.

I don't know exactly what shipping would cost, but I did ask UPS a couple of months ago when I was in there for something else. The guy told me that to box them individually and ship within the lower 48 states it would probably be around $25 - $30 each. Now granted, he didn't see how big they are and I didn't know how much they weigh, so I don't know how accurate his guess was.

I am very interested in the wheels. The tires, unfortunately, are not usable. They are at least 12 years old, and the date codes will probably reveal closer to 15. They are simply not safe anymore. If wheels are GM, have no physical damage (cosmetic is not a concern), and you will sell them without the tires I am very interested. I emplore you to give me a price for just the wheels.
Thanks,
Heath

The tires look like brand new. They have been stored inside, out of the sun, hanging on a pipe rack for most of the time. I would not hesitate to use them if I still had a corvette. If you're interested in just the wheels, I'll pay to have them dismounted, and ship the wheels only for the same price ($1,200 plus actual shipping cost). I would expect shipping to be cheaper since the weight and size would be quite a bit less. There is no question that these wheels are a bargain at this price.

I'd pay to have the tires dismounted and sell the wheels for $1,000 plus shipping and the tires for $200 plus shipping. That assumes I've got a buyer for the wheels and a buyer for the tires.

Both of these deals have fallen through. The tires have been dismounted. The GM part numbers stamped on the back of the wheel spokes are: 10214046 (front) and 9592479 (rear). The wheels and tires are still available. I posted this set at $1,200, which I figured was an excellent price for a like-new set of Grand Sport wheels. I figured that the tires (which are in terrific condition) were an extra bonus. UPS would box each wheel seperately and put two tires in a box for a total of six boxes. I'll sell the wheels and tires to one buyer for $1,200 + shipping. If someone only wants the tires, I'll take $250 + shipping. If someone only wants the wheels, I'll take $1,000 + shipping, but I won't sell the wheels before I sell the tires.

Sorry guys, but I didn't realize that I had not updated the email address in my profile since I retired. That has been corrected and I should now be receiving any email that you wish to send. I'll PM Vette-time to resend his email about the tires. Thanks, Joel
