Hello 87 Vette,

Unfortuately, we are slowly discovering just how "hard to find" these are, although I would not consider them "rare". What makes them hard-to-get is that those who have them do not part with them.

The single wheel we are attempting to replace, came with a set of four we purchased, all designated RS 026. Actually, all we really need is the 2½" outer rim half from a "good" wheel, because one of ours in the set is slightly damaged. It would be just fine for street use, but not for racing. When the search for the appropriate outer rim turned up very little, we now hope someone has a single wheel or two laying around.

Any help will be appreciated.
Ed

We are still looking for a 16" diameter, 2" "outer", or a complete RS 026 wheel. Certain 8" wide wheels also had this 2" outer rim.

Anyone have one to sell?

Default Thank you!

Derek,

Thanks for the eMail, and I have just replied. Those look like BEAUTIFUL wheels! Unfortunately, because of the way Goodyear and Hoosier are producing their slicks, and because of the wheels we already have, we are looking for something very specific.

Best of success with selling your Enkeis.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We are still looking for one of these 10" x 16" BBS wheels.

There must be literally thousands of 16" Corvette wheels sitting in garages or attics, collecting dust, as everyone has moved to 17" and 18". Of those thousands, there must be a few BBS RS-style? Or, maybe not . . . . .?

Default Still looking . . . . .

We are still looking for a 16" outer rim "half" (or two outers), from the
BBS RS-style 026 10" x 16" wheel.

We are no longer interested in a comlete set of 4. We might consider purchasing a single such wheel if in excellent condition.

Thanks,
Ed

first, I apoligize for not knowing what you are actually looking for, but if you could post a pic., even if we dont have it , we may see it someplace and be able to give you a lead. I got a spendy set of wheels that way just cause the guy that had them , didnt know what they were. truthfully, I didnt know what they were either, I just thought they were cool and cheap.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the suggestion of posting a pic of these BBS wheels. I have still not found a way to have this site host photos, and I am reluctant to simply publish photos to a third-party site (PhotoBucket, etc.), and then point to it.

I have been looking for your eMail address, and can not seem to find it. If you want to shoot a note to RaceProEngineering [at] Verizon [dot] net, I'll be more than happy to send you a photo or two.

Not to make small talk, but it was five degrees BELOW zero here in Watkins Glen last night! Any reports from "the real north"?

Best,
Ed
