FS: 1993 Lt1 engine...
It is definite ! my current Lt1 engine is up for sale.
The engine has seen boost for the last 15K miles, with a total of 120K miles.
I've decided to go with the 396- and the deal has been made! this engine IS FOR SALE!
there are 2 options;
1) purchase engine complete (minus; injectors, crank pulley, FPR, EGR components, headers, belt driven components), but does include the opti-spark (oem piece installed less than 15K miles ago) and new water pump. New OEM plug wires, NGK plugs (colder than stock for boost). I should still have my cast manifolds and those will be included (if so desired). I "might" sell the headers (TPIS long tube, non-emission friendly, heat wrapped). Oil pan is tapped for return oil.
2) parting it out completely if I can generate enough interest in the existing parts.
Please respond to this thread so I can dertermine what direction to go.
the engine is still strong, and I have NO problems with it. I'm just planning on building for MORE power.
could be a good idea for someone looking for a 4-bolt main Lt-x for a rebuild of their own? Or just dropping this engine into their existing c4, or project?
edit
current asking price on the long block $750!
Engine is coming out in a few months (when the 396 is done).

Might be beneficial for someone looking to build an engine without having down-time for their existing Lt-x c4?

That is the problem, and you should start by reviewing the rules at the top of the Parts for Sale forum, #3 in particular. Good luck with your sale.

I'll keep that in mind. At this point, I'm still interested in seeing if the engine as a complete unit can be sold.
BTW- this would make a nice swap into an older c4 "if" someone wants to step into an Lt-x swap.

Of course, the buying party is responsible for shipping expense. I wont know the cost until I have the dressed engine weighed and palletized. In fact, my buddy works for Fedex
let me know! further details can be provided via email or PM
