FS:ignition module LT5, gm part 1103841
a change of events has left with me with a working gm part number 1103841 LT5 ignition module from a 90 zr1 with 44kmiles, but the part fits all LT5 motors. I bought a new one thinking i needed one, and now found out after the plenum was pulled it was just the wires going into the module. This module has been tested and is in perfect working condition. If you dont know after looking these modules dont go bad often, but they are hard to find, gm doesnt make them anymore, and new ones cost from 550 all the way up to 1500 dollars, so its nice to have a spare on hand, but I am planning on selling the car, so this module must go.

post this up on the zr1 section or the zr1.net registry. Bet someone has one for less.

Well after two days of looking, I think I've finally found one. This was the hardest part I have ever tried to find. I'm wondering about other alligators waiting to bite me with this car.

I went through the fuel side of the car and found nothing wrong, but even so I replaced both pumps and filter. Chevy double checked my work and than came up with the IM as the problem. Being they are the ones that make the big money, I'm hoping that they are right and not just swapping parts till they get the right one. Wish me luck.

module
I know this was back in April but am looking for one now, I think it is the problem. The indication was that #5 and 8 has no spark, even swapping new coils around and checking all wiring. What was your situation and did the module fix it?
