Parting out LT5
I have a 375 horse LT5 out of a '91. The heads / inj. housing / plenum have been ported by Greg Van Deventer. He also converted the t-body to 67mm. The top end parts have been painted black and could easily be put back to stock color if desired.
The engine overheated (85K miles or so at the time) and I replaced it with a used one with the intention of building this one up and reinstalling later, The parts kept falling into one time sync after another and long story short I lost interest and sold the car so I no longer need the engine. There is no damage to the engine from the overheating - the heads are true and were decked to make sure.
Here is a list of the major parts and prices - I am open to offers too so if you think a part is to high tell me what you will pay for it and maybe we can work something out. Keep in mind the port work has already been done for a 475 motor. Shoot me an offer for any other parts you may want if they are not listed. I have everything that connects directly to the engine - no t-stat housing or indirect parts. I also do not have the crank.
Block - upper and lower w/ liners - $1K
oil pan - $300
oil filter adapter - $150

I will take credit cards through paypal - and I am not adding extra for it.
My email addresses are andy at denslow dot net or zr1 at bcvettes dot org.
The parts are in Austin. I can ship as well - you pay shipping and insurance plus any crating fees (if it's required)
I will update this post with a list of things that have sold. If it's not listed here it is still for sale.
Sold parts:
Heads / cams / head gaskets
Stainless top end bolt kit.
ECM
ign. module
crankshaft main bearing cap bolts and washers
t-body
plenum / inj. housings
bell housing w/ pivot and dust cover
starter
oil pump
coolant pipes (attach to inj. housings)
Pending payment:

Price drop on top end parts. For about $1300 (if you buy the gasket set too) you can get your top ended ported / polished (415 HP +/-) without having the car out of commission for more than a few hours - and you keep your stock parts intact. That's a pretty sweet deal...

OK - since this has slowed down I'm putting some of the smaller pieces on ebay starting with the oil pump @ $0.99 with no reserve.
