I do not know much about the LT1 system...
What is the flow numbers for lightly ported, just a ball park figure? Is the LT1 still a genI engine? The LT1 is reverse cooling, right? Could I run that with regular flowing heads(AFR 220) and block(L83)?
I am assuming that the fuel rails and TB are not included? How much $$ do they run on average?

For a L83 engine, is this CFI throttle body type?, I think there are better ways to go, as many people here on the tech section can attest to.
I personally dont think the manifold I have is a wise or economical decision for your engine. But, I am not a gen 1 expert with your engine type.
And the rails can come with it, and the throttle bodies I have need to be cleaned as they have been sitting in my garage for a while and are grungy.

An LT1 needs to be converted to run on your engine as it is a Gen 2 style, no coolant flow through the manifold. The L-98 crowd has been converting this manifold, and its been a hit and miss for me to read on it as either people have it done or dont know where to get it done.

Here is the conversion site I found. John Millican was the original guy to do this but went out of business/sold it?
http://www.lt1intake.com/services.htm
The LT1 intake I have is identical to the one I am selling and my 396 makes 425rwhp, with an auto and some have made close to 500rwhp NA with the same manifold, ported a little more. SO, it is capable of supporting HP for your needs easily.
Correction on my rails. MIne are 93 rails which dont have the crossover of the 94-96 manifold up front, so the rails dont fit perfectly, that..

No problem Doug. Just be patient and the Super Ram is a awesome manifold. One thing I highly recommend, get the Accell Lingenfelter 58MM Throttle body, as its idle air control path etc is set up correctly, and if LPE used them you know they are correct.
